The Ryan Picone Trio brings together three of the Twin Cities’ most accomplished improvisers—guitarists Ryan Picone and Ben Abrahamson, alongside bassist Matt Blake—to explore the rich musical traditions of Django Reinhardt while venturing far beyond them. Rooted in the spirit of Hot Club Jazz, the trio blends swing, flamenco, Brazilian music, and contemporary influences into performances that are both deeply expressive and spontaneously created.
